**Adam:**
Renee, my love. Who would have thought a simple chat on Discord would lead us here today? In those first conversations, we just could not stop talking. Each message, each shared moment made me realize how special you are to me.
**Celebrant:**
Renee, in Adam's love story, is a beautiful blend of laughter, late night chats, and a shared love of ice cream. They met in mid 2019. They first connected online through mutual friends, spending countless nights talking while Adam worked the night shift.
**Renee's Mother:**
She is smarter than you were. She is stronger than you were. She is the best parts of you, and so very much more. She is herself. She is beautiful. She is your baby all grown up. She is an amazing young woman, and she is a gift. Renee always had a thirst for knowledge. From the age of three, I knew she was something special. For Book Week, in grade one, she dressed up as a scientist.
She would ask me questions that I didn't know the answer to, and there was no, hey Google, back then. I was supposed to educate your child, but in Renee's case, she educated us.
**Celebrant:**
With an uncanny knack of knowing exactly what to say to get Renee giggling, Renee adores so much about Adam. She loves his charm. He's protective. He's a master chef, and is always saying, "Man, my cooking sucks," but his creations taste really good. Renee loves how he plays with the cat, when he apparently didn't want one.
She loves how he moves the cars in the morning so Renee can sleep in, and he makes sure that Renee is always taking care of herself. Her heart bursts most when she sees how he takes great care of his nieces.
**Renee's Mother:**
We all love our gentle giant. He was always offering a helping hand in the kitchen. So handy having a chef in the family, finally. And he's a favourite with Kara and Saskia. He will throw those girls in the air over and over, and they just love it.
(Gentle Music)
**Celebrant:**
There is so much that Adam adores about Renee. She constantly tidies up after him. She always wants a hug when one of them gets home from work. She lets Adam sleep in after a hard week. And she has everything organised and under control all of the time. Like I said, an absolute planner. And she is such a caring and helpful person, sometimes to the judgment of herself.
Adam thought she was both pretty and nervous, while Renee was immediately struck by Adam's blue eyes and shaky haircut.
And in her words, "Not mine." He was so very handsome.
Renee fell for his endless stories and that unmistakable voice, soon realising she couldn't imagine a future without him.

**Celebrant:**
Their journey really began in August of 2019, when they first met in person at Brisbane Airport.
**Renee:**
I remember what it felt like waiting in that airport for you that very first time. I was so riddled with butterflies. I just hid behind the bag size checked.
(Laughs)
**Adam:**
I could tell from the moment I saw you hiding behind the bag as checked at the airport, that I loved you.
**Celebrant:**
In 2023, Renee proposed to Adam, tears streaming down her face as she presented him with a ring box.
He was stunned, but he knew, just as he had from the very beginning, that Renee was the one.
**Renee:**
Mr. Adam Yates Zielman, when I first became aware of your existence, you were the empty.
(Laughs)
Nowadays, you seem to be quite the opposite and it warms my heart to see how much you've grown. I hope you can see that too.
I admire your self-confidence and self-assurance, which inspires me to love myself more dearly every day. You are my comfort, my home, my rock. With you, I feel free to be myself. My life is much richer and definitely more fun with you in it.
I love seeing your blue eyes for the first time and they're the clearest thing I can picture in my head.
**Adam:**
Love your smile, the silly faces you make and the way you light up my life every single day. You have this incredible ability to make me happy or at least make me smile no matter what is going on.
**Renee:**
Over the years, we've navigated many challenges together and I'm so grateful to have you by my side no matter how mountainous the landscape.

**Adam:**
Today, I promise to always keep you safe, to be there for you whenever you need me and to love you with all my heart.
**Renee:**
I promise to always choose you, to put you first and to love you unconditionally.
**Adam:**
I vow to cherish every moment we share, to support you, to be your rock through the good, the bad, and to make you laugh whenever I can.
**Renee:**
I also promise to pretend to help you off the couch and I will continue to steal your favourite bands when they go soft.

**Adam:**
As we continue through this life together, I will look forward to all our mayhem and mishaps, all the quiet moments in between and whatever else we can get up to with whatever time is left. I love you now and forever.

Two genes in one pair, we're each other's complement, bound by love sequence.

It's the memories and the tiny moments that make up life. Today is a big moment. Such a wonderfully special day. Take care of these moments. I wish you a lifetime of special moments.
