Rebecca and Dale Our Story at Sandstone Point Hotel

(Music) **Officiant:** From the moment Dale set eyes on Beck, he knew she was the one for him. In fact, he let those three little words, "I love you," slip on their third day. But he thought he managed to cover that little faux pas up. According to Beck, he didn't. (Music) **Officiant:** Dale and Beck's first date was on the 7th of December, 2019. They first met at the I Play Arcade at Riverlink. (Music) **Officiant:** Beck described Dale as silly, someone who appreciates family, and that special person in her life who will always go the extra mile for her. (Music) **Best Man:** He's an interesting character. He's a lovable fellow, that's for sure. **Best Man:** He's definitely grown up since they've been together, that's for sure. And it's really good to see. (Music) **Rebecca's Father:** He was very, very quiet and quite a bit shy. He opened up the door and he extended his hand and the hand was shaking a little bit. He said, "Hi, Mr. Howard." It was virtually like the deer in front of headlights. He had absolutely no idea. (Music) **Rebecca:** It was not long before the inner child and competitive side of you presented. **Rebecca:** Since the first few dates at I Play Arcade, basketball shooting, bowling, and Bounce, there has never been a day without entertainment. **Rebecca:** You are my goofball, my constant source of laughter and joy. Each day you bring out the fun side in our relationship and ensure that I enjoy the little things and do not take everything so seriously. **Rebecca's Father:** Thanks to her Auntie Marie, she has an absolute fascination with Disney characters. **Rebecca's Father:** The most beautiful princess in all of the lands. **Rebecca's Father:** So right from an early age, we knew that she was going to be very determined or she was going to be a very hard-headed person. **Officiant:** They'll describe Beck as headstrong, determined, loving, and caring. **Maid of Honour:** I love how Rebecca is so selfless. Beck would do anything for anyone at any time. As anyone would know, to be loved by Beck is such a privilege and I am so grateful to be able to call her my sister. She is the kindest soul and the big sister I never had. (Music Plays) **Maid of Honour:** How thoughtful and kind Beck is. Even in the midst of her wedding planning and everything, she took the time to message me, to support and care for me while Mum was sick. Even though I moved to Sydney, we have only grown closer. It is such a joy to be her cousin and I am so excited for her to be married. She is the most deserving bride. **Rebecca's Father:** Beck is a very good negotiator. She will make sure that this union between Dale and Rebecca works because she is the perfect negotiator. (Music Plays) **Maid of Honour:** It's Beck's passion for the people around her. Whether it's family, friends, or the little people she helps learn and grow, Beck is always there to make sure she supports and guides us. (Music Plays) **Maid of Honour:** You know she is behind you, cheering you on and we love you Beck for being that person. Everyone who knows you is better for it. You are the light that shines brighter than anyone that I know. (Music Plays) **Maid of Honour:** How fun she is. I can only imagine the stories that I am sure some of you would have as when they were little cousins growing up, which I haven't heard. If anyone would like to share with me later. (Music Plays) **Rebecca:** Eighteen months ago when you asked me to marry you, it was one of the easiest yes decisions in my life. You are a man that cares and loves me endlessly without question. You are there always despite, as you say, me being stubborn. Yes, that's true. **Rebecca:** I am so proud of what we achieved and look forward to what's ahead. **Rebecca:** See you at the end of the aisle and smash your lightsaber walk. **Rebecca:** Love forever always, Beck. (Music Plays) **Dale:** Words cannot express perfectly how I felt in that moment when we first met. **Dale:** I knew in an instant that I loved you. From that smile you always give me when we are together to those piercing blue eyes that always seem to see through me to my very being. **Dale:** I have always loved you and that has never once changed or wavered in the slightest. **Rebecca:** From the moment we met I was drawn to the soft, caring, and nurturing side of you. You uncovered the walls of a 24-year-old girl who was shy and timid around guys. The girl that wanted to do everything for herself, as you would say, was frustratingly stubborn at times. (Music Plays) **Dale:** I vow to always be there for you, to never stray, never doubt, to always make you laugh and smile, to always protect you and be the shoulder for you to cry on. (Music Plays) **Rebecca:** Your love and devotion to family and myself goes above and beyond, something that I promise to never take for granted. **Rebecca:** I promise to continue our light-hearted games, childish antics, fun, and to be dependable, passionate, and stand by your side as a partner and as a team. I promise to support your dreams and have a life full of laughter, happiness, and beautiful memories, but to also stand together in whatever trials life throws at us. I cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together and keep building on the life we have begun.
