They say their connection was instant, and they cemented their connection with endless discussions about music, movies, sports, and hobbies. **David:** Mindy. There are many things I love in this world. Coffee, the 1980s, St. George, the sixes, but nothing compares to you. From the moment I met you at an Italian restaurant on that cold winter night, I knew there was something special about you. I miss you every moment you're not here with me. I think about you all the time. Even when I'm busy making coffee. **Mindi:** My David. I call you my David because you are my everything. Nobody in the world makes me laugh like you do. You are my best friend, and I just enjoy being with you. You're an incredible man with a massive heart, and you've shown me more love than I've ever known. With you, I know I'll never have to do anything on my own. This past year especially has been a true testament to the man you are and the husband you will be. I drop everything because I need your kind of husband, and it's never too late to do the right thing kind of husband, and what can I do to help you kind of husband? Through the years, we've faced obstacles, some harder than others, that have helped us build a strong foundation of our relationship. It has shown me your unwavering love, constant support, and silent strength. You may now celebrate your marriage with a kiss. **Mindi's Dad:** Mindy. This is your life. I might start with Mindy's first birthday. She was tottering at one. She was an early starter, obviously. And we were having this birthday party for her, and I was sitting in a chair with a stubby in my hand. And she totters over, grabs the stubby in two hands, and goes— And then—oh, that was nice. And then just totters away again. Now I know why you used to have pre-drinks with your girlfriends before you'd go clubbing, eh? That was the starting point. So on that note, I'd like to wish them all the very best for the future, and let's raise our glasses. **Dave's Dad:** I've tried to pay my nephew over there 50 bucks to rob you of speech, but he didn't come for us. Yeah, he just can't trust anybody anymore. This is our third. He's a middle child, but we finally got rid of him also. But, you know, it's great. And it's great with Mindy coming in there, you know, the old dogs, they even like me now. So I'm in a world of hurt there, so I don't like dogs. I'm a cat man, so— But anyway, I wish you all the best, and so does Sandra, and you have a good one, eh? **Best Man:** And now, as Dave, you embark on this new chapter with Mindy, I've had the pleasure of getting to know her and witnessing the love that you share together. Hello, yes, my name is Mindy Seaston. It's S-E-A-R-S-T-O-N. No, it's with an S. Not a C. No, not an F. And it's E-A-R, there's an S at the end. Yeah. **Mindi's Sister:** All right. Thank you for teaching me how to stand up for myself, teaching me how to love and how to laugh. No matter where you go, you're always in my heart. There is nothing more special than having you as a big sister. And I am so elated that the day is finally here, where you have married your mister. Today, a bride, tomorrow, a wife, forever, my sister, and best friend for life. Mum is with you today, and beside you when you walk down the aisle. She's here in spirit and heart, and I see her in your smile. She's looking down on you with so much love and pride, as the most amazing person has become the most stunning bride. **Dave's Best Friend:** I first met Dave at uni 12 years ago, so over a decade. And we've been best mates ever since. That's just a fancy way of saying, I've seen Dave in skinny jeans more times than I'd like to remember. When I first saw him, I walked into my first history tutorial, and there was this bearded guy, not quite as big as it is now. He was more lumberjack than bush ranger. And he had this long, almost emo-ish hair across his face. He was wearing a band shirt and the tightest skinny jeans I'd ever seen. It was like they were painted on. And eventually... Sorry, Dave, but eventually Dave did confess his secret to me about those tight pants. They were in fact girls' jeans. That's a treat. Girls' jeans. **Maid of Honour:** Mindy, I wish you and Dave nothing but the best and the most happiness in the world that anyone could ever ask for. And hopefully, this little piece of advice that I have accrued from the ones that I love the most in this world will allow you to continue and carry out with your trials and tribulations in your life. I haven't included my husband and my advice because I don't know if that's **Mindi's Friend:** really very, you know? David, I love you, and I'm so beyond happy for you for not only what this day is, what this day means, and what this day will be for your family for the rest of your life. You deserve everything and more, and I'm so proud to be able to call you my brother. To Mindy, I've saved the best to last because, hello, look how good you look today. You are the most radiant and bright person who makes the most stunning bride, and no doubt, I'm sure Vogue will be calling soon. **Dave's Singing Voice:** Mindy, I swear, by the moon and the stars in the sky, I'll be there.
