**Officiant:**
There are chapters in all our stories that are exciting and full of adventure. So I'm now going to take you back to where it all began.
**Officiant:**
Before they met, life for Maria and Lisa was pretty average. They were happy working full time and seeing friends whenever they could. But they both felt that there was something missing. They didn't realize what that something was, of course, until they met.
**Officiant:**
When they spoke to each other, it was as if the entire world melted away.
(Music)
**Officiant:**
Maria liked how easy the conversation was between them, how Lisa smiled with her eyes, and how she laughed at her funny stories.
**Officiant:**
Lisa was drawn to how gentle and kind Maria was, and how pretty.
**Officiant:**
She liked how Maria lit up the room, but only had eyes for her.
(Music)
**Officiant:**
From date nights out to quiet nights in, they quickly realized that there was nothing they didn't want to do without each other. They weren't only falling in love, they were also realizing that they had found their forever.
(Music)
**Officiant:**
For Lisa, this feeling was quick. From the second meeting, she knew she could spend her life with Maria. She knew from this how soft-hearted Maria was, treating both Lisa and others with kindness and respect.
**Officiant:**
And from how joyful and optimistic she was about life.
**Officiant:**
Lisa would look for her in the clubs and dream of them being together.
(Music)
**Officiant:**
And Maria knew from the beginning that Lisa was also someone special. The moment she knew Lisa was her forever was when Lisa spent a week in the hospital with Maria's mother when she was unwell.
**Officiant:**
Maria realized that there was something missing.
**Officiant:**
She loved everything about Lisa, from how they laugh wholeheartedly together, to how they support each other in letting their inner child be free.
**Officiant:**
She loves that she knows Lisa so well that she can tell what she's thinking just by looking at her, and how Lisa makes the world a better place just by living in it.
**Officiant:**
She also adores how driven she is, and how she will never let anyone tell her what she can and cannot do. But most of all, she loves that Lisa is not only her great love story, but also her best friend. All that was missing was a ring.

**Officiant:**
She loves how passionate Maria gets about things, how she will always get Lisa involved with her hobbies so they can enjoy them together. She loves that everything she cooks is made with love, and how it always tastes like that too.
**Officiant:**
Lisa loves how Maria can make her laugh, and how much fun they have together, no matter what they are doing. But most of all, she loves that in Maria, she has found not only a partner, but also her best friend and a sun that...

**Maria:**
Lisa, my darling, as we stand here, I have to say thank you, because before I met you, I didn't know how to truly live for me.
**Maria:**
I gave my all to anything and everything around me, but always forgot myself and what was important to me until I met you.
**Maria:**
I never imagined that a single conversation or your odd ways of getting my attention would lead us to today.
**Maria:**
Okay, that's a lie, I knew instantly.
**Maria:**
I just didn't think I'd be lucky enough for it to come true. The first sight of you was all I needed to know what the rest of my life would be like.
**Maria:**
I vow to never stop showing you love, protection, and appreciation every day, as I have done so. I will continue walking beside you, picking you up when you feel down, and being your number one fan.
**Maria:**
I can't promise I won't leave my clothes on the floor or wrappers in the sink, but I can promise to never stop making you laugh until you can't breathe.
**Maria:**
Always pushing for adventures and reminding you that you can achieve anything you want to, because who you are is more than good enough.
**Maria:**
I will love you endlessly because you make it so easy to do, even when the moniker inside you comes creeping out, or you can't decide what to have for dinner.
**Maria:**
You held my hand and wiped my tears through my toughest moments and shared my successes with more excitement than my own. So today, I hold your hand on my happiest day, and I promise you my all, and my hand to hold through good and bad, and I love you more than the red sauce. We got this.
**Lisa:**
My sweet girl, in you I have found all that I have ever wished for, and I'm in love with you, not the idea of you, but the true you.
**Lisa:**
You have given me purpose and peace on days when I have given up on myself. You have touched my life in a way I didn't think was possible, and that's why I stand here today. I will continue to spoil you and encourage you. I will be there beside you as you fulfill your dreams and be your shoulder to cry on. I promise to try and stay awake during movies and protect you and Benny from bugs and toads. I promise to support your passions and scream at sports on the TV. But most importantly, I promise to hold your hand in the hospital and to make sure you feel safe and loved. I also want to thank you. Thank you for cooking every meal with love, even on the days you are tired and unwell.
**Lisa:**
Thank you for showing me kindness and what it is to be a good person.
**Lisa:**
Thank you for always making me laugh, for always making me feel good, for always knowing my preference for things.
**Lisa:**
Always knowing when I feel uncomfortable and staying close. For always knowing my signals for when I want to go home.
**Lisa:**
I want you to know I choose you, even when it's hard and times get tough. I choose you in every lifetime and every world and every version of reality. I would find you and choose you, because darling, you are my soul mate. I will never stop loving you.
