We have gathered here today in love, friendship, and family to celebrate the blending of two lives as Lily and Connor come before you to be united in marriage. **Officiant:** As family and friends, each of you have played some part in bringing them to this moment and, in various ways, will continue to contribute to and support their relationship. **Officiant:** I, Natalie Skye, am your celebrant for this happy event, and I'm duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. **Officiant:** It is one of life's richest surprises when the accidental meeting of two people leads them to proceed together along a common path. **Officiant:** It is indeed one of life's finest experiences when this chance relationship grows into a permanent bond of love. **Officiant:** The couple first met in 2004 during year one at school, at the tender age of six. **Officiant:** Their parents became friends and shared younger siblings the same age. **Officiant:** Connor and Lily would hold hands as they walked home from school, and their mothers predicted that they would get married one day. **Officiant:** Lily moved schools in year four, and their families continued to be friends. They shared crushes on one another for years and were both too shy to say anything. **Officiant:** During December 2018, **Officiant:** Lily and her family went overseas and asked Connor to house sit. **Officiant:** Connor kept coming up with excuses to message Lily—how to work the oven and what to feed the dogs. **Officiant:** Lily brought Connor a keyring from Harry Potter World in London and brought it home in January 2019. They were inseparable from that moment onwards. **Officiant:** Connor believes he fell in love with Lily at six years old and can't recall a time when he has never loved her. **Officiant:** Lily can't imagine her life without him being a part of it, and seeing Connor slide into her family perfectly, like a glove, was reassurance that he was and always has been the one for her. **Officiant:** Their engagement unfolded on the 11th of June 2022 during a weekend away in Maleny. **Officiant:** Connor proposed at the lookout of a hike that they took early on a Saturday morning. As he was taking photos of Lily looking out to the mountains in the view, she turned around and Connor was on bended knee. **Officiant:** Lily's first response was, "What the fox?" But it wasn't actually fox, and then she forgot to say yes until prompted due to the shock. **Officiant:** It was a beautiful, surreal moment in time that the couple will cherish forever. **Officiant:** Lily and Connor have founded their loving relationship upon a best friendship, **Officiant:** honesty and open communication. **Officiant:** They both value family and quality time, and share a love for children and can't wait to start their own family and enjoy adventures together. **Officiant:** Connor genuinely loves everything about Lily. She is the sweetest and kindest person he has ever met, and at the age of 24 she is an Italian nonna at heart, especially when it comes to cooking and making their house a real home. **Officiant:** Lily is Connor's biggest fan, with her unwavering support and understanding for anything and everything he does. They share many passions such as their careers, community support, cooking, gardening, their love for their own dog Franklin, going for walks, and being homebodies. **Officiant:** Connor describes Lily's humor as blunt, yet random, and says she doesn't even realize she's being funny half the time. **Officiant:** Lily has many talents, but one very cute one that Connor adores is her ability to celebrate special occasions as weeks rather than days, especially around birthdays. **Officiant:** Our groom has always been most physically attracted to Lily's red hair, which is stunningly beautiful. **Officiant:** It's a combination of his kind-hearted, **Officiant:** gentle nature, who gets along well with everyone, that Lily loves so much about Connor. He is quirky and sometimes dorky but never afraid to be himself. **Officiant:** He possesses a very young-at-heart, dad-joke kind of humor with plenty of puns. Connor has many special interests and hobbies such as camping, kayaking, cooking meat, and lawn mowing, and loves to have the latest gadgets with plenty of research behind his purchases. **Officiant:** You may already know about his YouTube channel with the adventures of hiking and camping, and if you don't then you need to check it out. Even I had to have a look. **Officiant:** Lily is inspired by Connor's passionate character and willingness to grow and learn at all times. **Officiant:** A bride has always been most physically drawn to Connor's changing eyes, green eyes which are genuine and alluring. **Officiant:** It's evident that Connor and Lily complement each other beautifully, creating a dynamic duo. **Officiant:** It was once said that falling in love is like being the first to discover the most beautiful thing in the world. **Officiant:** Love often starts in little ways.
