Now, despite the sparks flying between them, it took Cam a little while to muster up the courage to finally ask her out. (Music) **Cameron:** This is what makes me believe in destiny and soul mates. **Cameron:** I was in a different time of my life, different mindset, wasn't looking for anything. **Cameron:** Courtney was there, caught my attention, chatted to me all night. We started going out, it took about five days for me to kiss her. But the whole time I was, oh yeah, there I go, why? She gets to be first. **Cameron:** She was, I thought, well, I truly had a wide league and pushing daisies up here sort of thing. **Celebrant:** Courtney and Cameron fell fast. Before long, they simply couldn't get enough of each other. And after just one month of dating, Cameron asked Courtney to move in. (Music) **Cameron:** It was good as hell. We were bliss, having the time of our lives, just living there. (Music) **Reception MC:** And the couple embarked on a series of pranks—eyelashes on cars, cold showers, and epic April Fool's jokes. Courtney's antics would break anyone. Ask Cam how he felt when food suddenly became spicy from the hidden chilies game. (Music) **Courtney's sister 1:** Courtney is the second youngest of the Fern tribe of five. **Courtney's sister 1:** She's brilliant, she's fearless. **Courtney's sister 1:** She's the "Are you still waiting for your order? Give me that damn ticket" kind of sister. **Courtney's sister 1:** She's outgoing, hardworking. (Laugh) **Courtney's sister 1:** And the one that has you laughing, the pain in the pit of your stomach, at every family event. **Courtney's sister 1:** All of these things make you an incredible real estate agent. An incredible daughter, sister, friend, and now my favorite title of yours—what? (Music) **Courtney's sister 2:** Courtney is the embodiment of funny, selfless, and sweet. Her laughter has a way of lighting up the darkest days, and her selflessness is a testament to her beautiful heart. (Music) **Reception MC:** Courtney, as she shared, has grown up bouncing between sports from netball to martial arts, gymnastics, and back again—all while being a massive animal lover. She is the adrenaline junkie who was never late to bed, thanks to the vigilant presence of motion sensor Al, a handy trick to ensure that Dad didn't catch her still awake. (Music) **Courtney's sister 1:** I couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect match for Courtney. **Courtney's sister 1:** You're the calm to her chaos. (Music) **Courtney's sister 1:** You've never tried to dim her shine. It's a blessing to watch my baby sister marry the man of her dreams and build this life you guys have made together. (Music) **Courtney's Father:** She's always been caring, and she's always been sharing. Drives to be the best. (Music) **Cameron:** Long story short, I never expected any of this. Absolutely any of this. I never expected Courtney to be the woman of my dreams. The woman who has supported me through absolutely everything. The woman who has supported me when I didn't even know I needed support. I couldn't even tell you—some days I just woke up feeling shit, and I didn't even know it. And Courtney was always the one to just say, "Hey, you—mind my language—but you're the man. You're all good, don't stress, it's all good." She's always been my rock and my support. (Music) **Reception MC:** Meanwhile, Cam was a self-confessed nerd with wood cutting and dragon slaying prowess. **Reception MC:** More at home skateboarding than in the sports arena, raised in what must have been the wildest quiet home. His childhood included sneaking out, loud pranks, and swearing, which has come in handy when dealing with Courtney's pranks. (Music) (Laugh) (Music) **Courtney's sister 2:** His hilarious and kind and outgoing nature made it easy for us to get along. And over time, he's become like a brother to me. **Courtney's sister 2:** Seeing the way he complements Courtney, bringing out the best in her, while also being her equal in humor and kindness, fills me with so much joy and pride. (Music) (Laugh) (Music) **Cameron:** For me, it's the day. Can you believe it? We're standing on the edge of forever, just inches away from the rest of our lives. Hand in hand, just me and you. I can't begin to express how excited I am for everything that's to come. The laughter, the adventures, the quiet moments, and all the magic in between. You've given me strength, and you've given me hope. You've helped me find the best version of myself. The version I did most of it was that you changed your world for me and believed in me. And you pushed me to grow. I wouldn't be here with you today without you. Having you by my side forever, I just needed myself, which is not ever us all. But if we take one day at a time, I know every moment will be just as perfect as the last eight years. **Cameron:** I'll see you soon, then I'll be the one in white, then I'll be walking towards forever. **Cameron:** I love you to the moon and back, always for... **Courtney:** Growing up, I was always nervous around the word "instant" because I learned that things can disappear in an instant, but they can also begin in one. I've come to believe that when you meet the person you're meant to spend the rest of your life with, you just know. **Cameron:** I'm extremely proud to be standing here with you today, by my side, ready to take the next leap in life for us. **Cameron:** Words can't express how deep my love is for you. **Courtney:** I do only have one worry. Not that my love won't endure, because I know that it will. I worry that if we have lived 100 years and only get 80 of those with you, then how am I supposed to fit all my love into just 80 years? That's how I know that there must be something after this life, and wherever that is, we'll find each other, just like what we did here today. **Cameron:** When I look at you, I confidently see a future with you. But not just any future—a future filled with love, happiness, blissfulness, and success. Through your daily acts of kindness that come from your heart, you've captured mine. You are the most beautiful and amazing woman I've ever met. There's an undeniable charm about you, one that flows effortlessly and makes you shine simply by being you. **Courtney:** Despite anything that could hold us back, we were always meant to be, and that is something that I am completely sure of. I love that we laugh together. I love that we're goofy together. I love that we're so supportive of one another. You are my inspiration, my motivation, my courage every day.
