Named as 2017 ABIA Award finalists
We are thrilled to share that She Said Yes Photography was named a finalist in the 2017 ABIA Awards for wedding photography. The Australian Bridal Industry Academy Awards are one of the most respected accolades in the Australian wedding industry, and being recognised among so many talented photographers across Queensland is something we do not take lightly.
The ABIA Awards are unique because finalists and winners are chosen based on genuine feedback from real couples. That means this nomination came directly from the people who trusted us to capture one of the most important days of their lives. There is no greater compliment than that.
It all comes back to our couples
An achievement like this does not happen in a studio. It happens on dance floors, in getting-ready rooms, during first looks and late-night celebrations. Every couple who invited us into their wedding day played a part in this milestone.
To every bride and groom who gave us their trust, laughed with us during portraits, and later took the time to share their experience through ABIA reviews, thank you. This nomination belongs to you as much as it does to us.
We have always believed that great wedding photography comes from genuine connection. When couples feel comfortable, real moments unfold naturally, and those are the images that tell the best stories. Seeing that philosophy recognised at an industry level is incredibly rewarding.
Looking ahead
Being named ABIA finalists has not changed what we do. It has reinforced why we do it. We started She Said Yes Photography because we love telling love stories, and we plan to keep doing exactly that for every couple who walks through our door.
